Poet Paul Benton grew up in Sedalia, Missouri. He studied at SFCC and later attended CMSU and earned a BA in English with a minor in anthropology. He worked at an art gallery in Minneapolis for several years, and then he moved to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. He currently resides by a bend in the Mississippi River. His perceptive poems have been published in numerous magazines and journals.
